Rami Vamos, producer/creator/”Schmuzinberry”

Rami Vamos (A.K.A. “Wolfgang Amadeus Schmutzinberry”) is a guitarist, educator, writer, and composer. Rami regularly performs his shows at Lincoln Center where he works closely with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center as a curriculum planner, writer, composer, and host for both their Chamber Music Beginnings concert series and CMS Kids programs. Rami’s compositions have been performed by leading classical musicians.

Rami is a professor at New York University and Concordia College.  He also teaches general music and choir in Pelham, New York public schools.  His work has been a subject of segments on CBS and his writing has appeared in the New York Times.  Rami is married to concert violinist, Nurit Pacht, with whom he writes music and performs. They have three children, Carmel, Matan, and Yonah.

Kevin Hylton, producer/creator

Kevin saw Rami perform Schmutzinberry live at Lincoln Center two years ago and immediately saw the potential for transferring Rami’s stage magic into a small screen series. For the last two years Kevin and Rami worked towards developing the show. Prior to working on Schmutzinberry, Kevin wrote for Zootopia & Moana’s director/writer, Jared Bush, on his his Disney TV animated series, Penn ZeroKevin also wrote and is producing  a feature film titled The Amateur based on the life of former world number one tennis player, Pauline Betz.  Betz created the first women’s professional tennis tour in 1947. Hylton is co-producing it with Betz’s  granddaughter, FX Actress Aya Cash (The Boys, Fossee/Verdon, You’re The Worst).   Prior to writing for TV and Film, Kevin wrote stage plays which were produced off Broadway in theaters in New York.  Like Schmutzinberry, Kevin loves music of all styles and has played instruments his entire life. Hylton’s wife, Jennifer Gross Hylton, is an Occupational Therapist who works with children who have autism and other developmental delays.  Kevin and Jenn have two young daughters, Libby and Sara, who worked as puppeteers and cinematographers on some of the episodes. They all live in Westchester, NY.

Michael B. Winn, writer

Mike Winn also wrote on  Jared Bush’s  Disney TV animated series, Penn Zero Mike was one of the first participants of the New York chapter of Upright Citizen’s Brigade improv theater.  Mike studied under Amy Pohler, Matt Walsh, Ian Roberts, and Matt Besser . He performed with fellow UCB comics like Paul Scheer, Nick Kroll, Jason Nash, reality tv producer Jeff Bumgarner, and many others. Mike has also appeared in independent film and stage productions.  Mike and Kevin have been a writing team for years, with several feature length children’s and adult film and tv projects in varying stages of development. Mike is a father of two children. He has been performing and composing original music for 30 years . 

Bizz DeCrenza, executive producer

Bizz DeCrenza started his career in television production in 1998 as a PA for the news magazine show, Inside Edition.  With the dream of becoming a director of photography he quickly worked his was up the ladder. He moved onto being a teleprompter, audio tech, then a camera operator before going freelance.  Not long after he was scooped up by a small production company as a staff director of photography with a 4 year contract. There he acquired valuable experience shooting for MTV, Vh1, Sony Music, Nickelodeon & other entertainment networks.  When that contract ended in 2003 he launched his own Production company and hasn’t looked back since.  For the last 16 years Showbizz Productions has provided high level crew members at every position & quality equipment to make them relevant in the extremely competitive NY market.  Some of their clients are: NBC, ABC, CBS, CNBC, TLC, AMC, Tru Tv, ID Discovery,DIY Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, Rachel Ray Show, The Chew, The Talk, Impractical Jokers, and various Ad Agencies. 

Larry Eisner, editor

Larry runs an award winning turn-key production and editorial company working in live, aerial, and post-production for film, television, and advertising. A former actor and Queens College Theater alumni, Eisner produces work for ESPN, PBS, NBC, MTV and A&E amongst other networks and studios. Jodi Angstreich, casting

Jodi Angstreich is a Casting Director at Laura Rosenthal Casting. She has had the privilege of working on many film, television series, and commercials. Some recent credits include Unbelievable for NETFLIX for which she is currently nominated for an Emmy Award. Yay Jodi! She worked on Modern Love for AMAZON as well as Features Films’ A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place 2, Diane, To Dust, and Skin. Other past projects include Wildlife, First Match, Wonderstruck, Norman, The Dinner, Carol, Olive Kitteridge, The Young Pope, Mildred Pierce and many more.
